Once Again Urban Education Center Meets the Challenge!

For the second year in a row,  Notre Dame Urban Education Center (NDUEC) in Covington has met the Butler Foundation’s fundraising challenge!   In its latest appeal to the community’s generosity, NDUEC collected over $55,000 in new and increased donations, for total contributions of $105,197 in 2026.  All funds benefit the Center’s ongoing operations.

Since the Sisters of Notre Dame launched the Center in 2010, the Butler Foundation has endorsed its mission of providing transformative educational experiences for children in Northern Kentucky’s urban core.  NDUEC offers early learning instruction during the school year; and out-of-school time and summer programs for older students that include academic tutoring, cultural enrichment, and supervised fitness programs for students.

For more information, or to donate or volunteer your time, contact NDUEC’s Executive Director Erin Woods, ewoods@nduec.org or (513) 218-8925.
